I’ve had what I’d call a somewhat unconventional journey in life which ultimately led me to develop my unique understanding of Mental freedom.
Each twist necessitated a shedding of who I thought I was.
My identity, my self-worth - tethered to each role: athlete, student, trainer, founder, guide. Every evolution was a brush with the existential abyss.
It pushed me to dig deeper.
To explore the mind-body connection, and ultimately, to discover the incredible power of mental freedom.
So what is mental freedom?
It's not about achieving some zen state on a mountaintop.
It's about breaking free from self-imposed limits and exposing the blind spots that hold us back. It’s the fascinating exploration of the construction of self.
Which can be redefined at any moment.
You hold the key.
Here's a simple, actionable step you can take today towards mental freedom.
Find the story you have bound yourself to:
Take inventory, what do you have a lot of in your home, what do you collect? Books, sports equipment, artifacts from your travels, luxury items, etc.
These everyday items hold the secrets of your subconscious, a hidden language revealing your values and aspirations to the world.
In order to find freedom you must first see how you are defined.
To achieve Mental freedom we first have to know what it is that we need to become free from?
That’s where it begins.
There's a whole world of practices and tools waiting to be explored on your journey to mental freedom.
But for now, start with the one mentioned above.
Remember, freedom isn't a destination, it's the whole journey.
Take that first step today.
